The LLC Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017. Along with that milestone comes a significant change in its charitable giving. The Foundation now has two grant programs. The first is focused on supporting innovative childrens' literacy programs in the Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia, and Sacramento/San Francisco regions. The second is focused on providing grants for purchasing children's books for bookmobile programs around the nation. Both grant types are for specifically for literacy or bookmobile programs that serve disadvantaged children.
